Come out and join the great folks with Oklahoma Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers for a great day of clean-up, cold water fishing, food, and fellowship on the beautiful Lower Illinois River on Saturday July 20th from 9am - 3pm!
Come early if you’d like to get on the day-break trout or striper bite before we do some rewarding stewardship on public lands. Starting at 9, we will pass out trash bags and pack out items left behind. It's always gratifying to leave our public spaces better than we found them! There might be a little rough terrain, so come prepared with good footwear!
Then, stick around and fish after a couple of grilled hotdogs, brats, and chips provided by the chapter. Drinking water will be available. This wonderful event is family and dog friendly so be sure to bring the whole family for a great day on public lands!
RSVP below so we know you're coming and then be sure to invite your family and friends!
