event_description: This Public Lands Day BHA, in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management, will be helping to renovate the Sarvis Creek Cabin, an LWCF site that expanded public access to premier fishing waters. We visited this site in August with Senator Bennet to advocate for the permanent reauthorization of LWCF and are returning now to get our boots on the ground and we need your help! This project aims to improve this site for users by replacing the fence adjacent to the main vehicle gate that accesses the property as well as removing the woodpile that butts up to the cabin. We will also be installing a stand up bbq grill and possibly an in-ground fire ring unit. There will also be general cleanup and trash pickup around the cabin and along the riverPlease RSVP today!Required Equipment: Longs pants and sleeves, work boots, gloves, lunch, and plenty of water.
