Come out and celebrate National Public Lands Day by helping clean up one of Eastern Montana’s most popular recreation areas!
As part of BHA's month-long Public Lands Pack Out campaign, we’ll meet in the parking lot of the Strawberry Hill Recreation Area at 10:00am on Saturday, September 28th and disperse from there. The parking lot, trails and shooting area will be our main focus, but we can certainly cover as much ground as possible to pack out as much trash as we can.
The Montana Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers will provide pizza at around noon for a quick bite before we head back out to finish the job!
Please bring work gloves, sunscreen, bug spray and water. A good pair of boots is a good idea to battle the cactus. If you have rakes or shovels, we could definitely use more of those as well. We'll provide the garbage bags.
