Join us on Public Lands Day (September 25th) to do some good for our public lands!
We will be teaming up with Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks and Tangle Free Montana to remove approximately ½ mile of dilapidated fencing on the Mount Jumbo Wildlife Management Area just outside of Missoula. The fence is partially up with some sections buried in the ground. Volunteers will be removing old wire and posts, so wildlife (especially elk) have a clear and safe path to critical wintering grounds coming out of the Rattlesnake Wilderness area. The regional FWP big game biologist will also be on site. We will be providing all the necessary tools and lunch, but please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate footwear and long sleeves.
Please email Mike at [email protected] to RSVP so we can get a head count for lunches.
