Come spend a day with fellow NM BHA members and help clean up the Pecos River near Tererro, NM. We will meet at 10 am in front of the Tererro General Store. From there we will begin cleanup efforts on the Pecos River at the Davis-Willow campground just North of Tererro. If time permits, we will also clean up the areas around the Dalton and Bert Clancy campgrounds. Volunteers will want to bring a lunch, drinking water, gloves and a mask. Non-members are welcome and this event is kid friendly.
First Lite will be donating $5 back to BHA for every bag of trash packed out (combined max. donation of $10,000). First Lite also will be giving away 20 gift cards valued at $100 each to the top 20 public land trash packers. Additionally, 10 gift cards will be given away throughout the month to those who share a photo of the Public Land Pack Out on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #publiclandpackout and #publiclandowner.

How to get there:
From Albuquerque take I-25 north to exit 299 (Glorieta/Pecos exit north of Santa Fe). From the I-25 exit, take NM highway 50 to Pecos, NM. At the 4 way stop in Pecos, turn left onto NM highway 63 and travel 11.6 miles to the Tererro general store, located on the right hand side of highway 63. Travel time from Albuquerque is approximately 2 hours.
