Join Murray State BHA for a trash pack-out to celebrate Public Lands Month!
Volunteers should meet at Land Between the Lakes (36.824226,-87.988717) at 5:30pm to pack out trash (if you are a student, the Murray State BHA club meeting starts at 5pm). Volunteers should bring work gloves (if they have them), closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, snacks and water. Gloves, trash bags, and pizza will be provided.
This event is a part of BHA's Public Land Pack Out, an annual event where members maintain the places they love by picking up and taking out thousands of bags of garbage left in the places everyone can call their own. Last year, during one of the most difficult times we can remember, BHA members broke a record and hefted 4,175 bags of garbage out from our public lands. And with your help in 2021, we hope to crush our 10,000 bag goal.
