Come join the Capital Region Chapter for a day on the Potomac River. We will float an 11-mile stretch from Taylors Landing to Antietam Creek. This area on the Potomac offers some great smallmouth bass fishing, so feel free to bring a rod but make sure you have the appropriate fishing license. After the float is finished we will end at the Antietam Campground to enjoy some food, beverages and stories.
Please RSVP below so we can get an accurate headcount. Questions? Email Larry Williams.
We will meet at Taylors Landing at 8:00am, then organize vehicles at the pickup point. Use the following link for directions for Taylors Landing: http://www.riverexplorer.com/details.php?id=814
We will be ending the float at Antietam Campground. Here is a link with info and you can reserve tent spots for $20 a site if you would like to stay overnight.
