event_description: The New Mexico Wildlife Federation and New Mexico Backcountry Hunters & Anglers are offering a free forest planning workshop next Tuesday at Santa Fe’s Second Street Brewery. Cibola National Forest Supervisor Steve Hattenbach will walk guests through the process and discuss the importance of public involvement. Guests will then be able to submit comments of their own to ensure final plans meet the needs of wildlife and preserve critical habitat and natural resources. Comments are due by Nov. 7.
