BHA's Public Lands Day celebration continues in our nation's capital with a very special Pint Night at the Filson store in Washington, D.C.
We'll share some drinks and snacks courtesy of Filson and the Capital Region Chapter will be on hand to offer memberships, merchandise and hunting and fishing conversation.
Filson will donate 20% of sales during the event to Backcountry Hunters & Anglers. Be one of the first 50 guests to arrive and get a free pint cup!
In addition, Chef Wade Truong of Elevated Wild will be on hand serving up samples of wild game and discussing how public land is the thing that all Americans, regardless of our hunting or fishing backgrounds, have in common.
Wade is a lifelong resident of Virginia. He grew up fishing but didn’t take up hunting until his mid-twenties. He is a self taught hunter and chef with a focus on local and seasonal food. Being as connected to his food as possible has been the driving force behind his ever growing obsession with hunting, fishing and foraging.
