Join the Southwest Chapter of Colorado BHA in collaboration with the BLM Tres Rios Field Office for a day of removing old fencing and general clean up of BLM lands at Phil's World. Volunteers can meet and park at the Cash Canyon Trailhead of County Road L at 9am. Be prepared for a bit of physical labor removing old barbed wire fencing and possibly hiking to collect old trash piles within the pinon juniper landscape of Phil's world. Some on and off trail travel may occur. All BHA members and potential members are welcome to come (families included).
Please dress for the weather and bring/wear, personal protective equipment (PPE): Sturdy pants, boots, and long sleeve shirts. Bring a day pack, water, and snacks. The BLM will bring gloves, some fence pliers (and other tools), and first aid kits.
