Please join the Southeast Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers for a Hike 2 Hunt group hike on the Perdido River Trail. This 17.9 mile trail follows the beautiful Perdido River and offers an opportunity to explore one of Alabama's coastal wildlife management areas. We will meet at the check in station on Duck Road at 7 am. We will decide where to leave shuttle vehicles based on group preference, weather, and schedules. We will then proceed to the northern trailhead at Gravel Landing. There is no potable water source along the trail, so bring plenty. Mid-June weather on the coast can be unpredictable so cool clothing and light rain gear is recommended.
