BHA is proud to announce that Passalacqua Winery is our Corporate Partner of the Month. Located in Healdsburg, California, Passalacqua joined as a Gold Corporate Partner of BHA in 2020. They’ve provided us with funding to support our mission and also bottled an incredible 2018 Zinfandel just for us – and are donating 100 percent of profits from this wine to BHA. The folks behind the wine are great, too. When I asked them about who they are and why they support BHA, Jason Passalacqua answered, “Like many, growing up hunting and fishing inspired an appreciation of the outdoors. When I started Passalacqua Winery in 2004, it was with the intent of integrating my passions – wine, food, family and friends and, in my case, the food portion was often hunted, foraged or caught. I support BHA because of their mission of preserving and protecting our public lands for this and future generations to enjoy."
Similar to BHA, Passalacqua pivoted quickly when the pandemic hit and started offering virtual tastings, where they’d ship a collection of samples to your house and schedule a time for you to taste them with the winery’s sommelier. We’re excited to work with Passalacqua and Eduardo Garcia from Montana Mex on Thursday, Dec. 10, when we’ll be offering an exclusive virtual cooking event. More details on that soon.
