event_description: Please join BHA for our first dog friendly hike in Park City on Wednesday, July 10th at 5:30pm. This dog friendly hike will be a chance to connect with folks in Park City and SLC over public lands, open spaces, and corresponding recreation, hunting, and fishing opportunities. Also, come learn about the current Hike to Hunt Challenge going on with BHA! Whether you are a backcountry skier, mountain biker, angler, bird watcher, elk hunter, or simply curious about your 640 million acres of public lands, come join the hike! Cove Trailhead, Park City, Utah, 84098 (part of PC Trails and Open Space). To access the Cove Trailhead, turn at the stoplight (Meadows Drive by McLeod Creek) as you come into PC from Kimball Junction, take a left and go about 1.5 miles to park at Cove Trailhead. This is part of protected open space with the Summit Land Conservancy. https://mountaintrails.org/pc-trail-system/round-valley/ This is a moderate hike, about 2.5 miles round trip, with options to lengthen and/or mountain bike.
