September is Public Lands Month at BHA and as part of the celebration, PA Chapter members and friends will join the Pennsylvania Game Commission and the Lancaster Conservancy to pack flood debris out of public hunting/fishing lands/waters.
During the second of two Pack-Outs in this area this month, volunteers will use hiking trails to access areas of State Gamelands 83 and Otter Creek Nature Preserve in order to remove heavy flood debris from a pristine trout stream and forest.Long pants, sturdy shoes (that can get wet) and gloves are required. Bring drinks and snacks!
Volunteers will meet at the Otter Creek Trailhead of the Mason-Dixon Trail. Click map link below for directions.
