Chapter Leaders Oppose Crook County Plan

Despite clear opposition by Oregon chapter leaders of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, the Crook County Commission unanimously approved the controversial Crook County Natural Resource Plan earlier this month – ostensively bolstering local objectives and mitigating all other stakeholders in the management of our public lands within the county, including much of the Ochoco National Forest.

Oregon chapter Secretary, Bill Welch, submitted a written testimony against the Natural Resource Plan, highlighting many of the concerns that public land owners have with this plan.
