Ohio

The Ohio chapter has been hard at work during the time of COVID, engaging members through a social media scavenger hunt that encouraged members to get outside and recreate responsibly and distributing guidance urging responsible recreation on our public lands and waters to prevent closures from occurring. Finally, the chapter has been awarded a U.S. Forest Service Eastern Region Volunteers and Service Award for a 2019 habitat restoration project at the Lake Vesuvius Recreation Area in the Ironton Ranger District of the Wayne National Forest! Even in challenging times such as these, the Ohio Chapter has kept their foot on the gas and continued to advocate for our public lands and waters.
