Have you ever wanted get into hunting, or know someone who's interested? Well we're hosting a Learn to Hunt event in Ohio October 13th at Cardinal Shooting Center & Campground! We're going to have some classroom session, go over ethics of hunting, safety, and Q&A with our board members and a Division of Wildlife Officer. Later in the day we will have some range time to show you proper firearm use and safety, and a voluntary squirrel hunt to show you some woodsmanship skills. To wrap up the evening we'll have a wild game feed to show you the cuisine and culinary benefits of harvesting your own protein! The best part? This is a FREE public event. -classroom session including safety brief, lessons of fair chase and North American model of wildlife management, ethics of hunting and meat harvest, Q&A session with board members and Division of Wildlife officer

-voluntary squirrel hunt. Students interested in trying to harvest their own game may accompany a board member or volunteer for a squirrel hunt
