Join the Ohio Chapter at Climb Cincy where Dr. Conal Roche will lead a discussion and demonstration on backcountry first aid and preparedness. Dr. Roche is a board-certified emergency room physician who specializes in wilderness medicine. He trains medical professionals on stabilization and extraction techniques, backcountry emergency preparedness, and response. Homeboy knows his stuff!
Learn how to prepare for any backcountry adventure and how to respond to an emergency when it happens. We will have a participatory demonstration and opportunities for lots of Q&A.
We will also have wild game on the grill and beers in the cooler for those who set up or renew their BHA membership. And of course, some cool raffle items… including a $250 credit to First Lite!
After the event we will walk over to a local brewery, Urban Artifact, to continue the hang!
Enter through Climb Cincy’s front door on Blue Rock. Make sure you sign a waiver at the reception desk and then head to the back of the gym for the event space.
