On March 4th from 1:30-5pm, Instructors will teach 20 lucky participants the basic principles of sausage making at the Kunz-Brundige Franklin County Extension Building. Attendees will learn which cuts to use for grinding, what is the right fat source for different sausage types, the difference between cured and uncured sausages, and more. Most importantly, the workshop will feature start-to-finish hands-on instruction and taste-testing of 3 different recipes of sausage – a patty-style breakfast sausage, an Italian sausage link, and a top-secret special recipe.
If all that wasn’t enough, a lucky attendee or two will be going home with some sausage-making gear of their own as we have some GREAT raffle items such as a $250 gift card and an 11lb Stuffer from one of our National BHA Sponsors - Waltons! Plus, all 20 participants will be leaving with a sweet BHA Waltons Cutting Mat! We also have $200 of gear from Cabelas/Bass Pro!! Hopefully more to come.
