Join the Florida Chapter for an afternoon of bobwhite quail hunting in the Apalachicola National Forest quail enhancement area. The quail enhancement area is located just south of Tallahassee bordered by highway 319 to the west, 363 to the east, and Oak Ridge Road to the south. This is a free event. Hunters are required to have a hunting license and WMA permit. Although it is not required, wearing blaze orange is highly advised for everyone’s safety as centerfire deer season will be ongoing. Dogs are welcome if you are comfortable with others hunting over your dog(s).
We will meet at the Publix parking lot very nearby, then drive together to the quail enhancement area. We will be leaving the parking lot at 7:00am.
