Join the board members and supporters of New Mexico BHA on the ice January 29 for fun, fishing and food! This will be a great opportunity for the seasoned and new icefisher to participate in the annual Eagle Nest Fishing Contest while sharing tips and tricks and hopefully removing some invasive Pike from the fishery.

RSVPs for this event are now closed. If you still wish to attend, or if you have already RSVPd but need to borrow rods/reels/tipups, please email Jeb: [email protected] right away. First come, first serve. NM BHA members will be on hand to help with putting holes in the ice and to provide general advice for those new to ice fishing.
*Eagle Nest Lake is open from 6 am to 9 pm, but NMSP suggests you limit time on the ice to daylight hours
- 6 am - 11 am Tournament registration in the Eagle Nest Lake State Park Visitor Center
- 12 pm BHA hosted lunch with bratwursts and chips
- 2 pm Tournament participants must be in line at the measuring station at Eagle Nest Lake State Park Visitor Center
Where to Meet Us!
Ice fishing location will be accessed from the main boat ramp. The BHA crew will be on the ice ~100-200 yards due east from the boat ramp. Look for a white table with a red Eskimo Quickfish 3 ice hut and ask for Jeb.
