The Nevada chapter recently sounded the alarm on the potential 3:1 land transfer in favor of billionaire Stan Kroenke proposed in Northeastern Nevada. Since this news broke, the NV chapter has been working diligently to secure firm opposition to this bad deal from delegates and fact check some of the more questionable claims from Western Land Group and Kroenke Ranches during their initial preseason to the State Wildlife Commission earlier this month. It’s no secret that billionaires have been known to pull some shifty moves to push deals like this through Congress. As residents of the "public lands state," the Nevada chapter is committed to following this proposal and any like it every step of the way to ensure we maintain and enhance the beautiful public lands in our state.
