Nebraska Backcountry Hunters & Anglers has begun sending out a regular report with a summary of our recent efforts and with alerts on potential upcoming events.
This past month we added four new Board Members to Nebraska BHA. They are Cody Russell of Beatrice, Derek Leslie of Omaha, Jason Wurst of Sutherland, and Loren Smith of North Platte. To learn more about the entire board visit Click Here.
This month, BHA Nebraska has been working with Nebraska Game and Parks to improve Wildlife Management area access in the sites around North Platte. For example, we have been helping facilitate efforts between Lincoln County and NGPC to improve road access to Wapiti WPA. This area has been difficult to access after precipitation events and due to brush encroachment. We are planning a volunteer event on a WMA in this region soon, so stay tuned.
