Announcing the North Carolina BHA Chapter 2023 Trashy Squirrel Hunt! Join folks as they partake in this friendly competition amongst other BHA districts! Chase after some fun game while cleaning up our public lands! This is the Uwharrie based Trashy Squirrel Hunt for the weekend of 1/28/22. Points will be awarded for the amount of harvested squirrels AND the amount of trash collected! We will be competing for state bragging rights and a truly outstanding squirrel trophy! Plus, you may be taking home some good groceries for the freezer!
BHA members will be camping out all weekend. Feel free to come for the day and we will meet at Yates Place Campground Saturday at 8:00am. Participate for as long you would like, or camp out for the weekend as we plan on having a great time. You don't want to miss out on this fun filled event! Come out prepared for the hunt and the weather and be ready to make some great friends!
