Join Boise State University for a Public Land Pack-Out in celebration of Public Lands Month! Volunteers should meet in the parking lot between the BSU Liberal Arts building and the Hemingway building (43.603132, -116.202642) at 8:45am to carpool/caravan to the clean-up location. Please bring work gloves if you have them, water, snacks, sunscreen, and wear closed-toed shoes and appropriate work clothes. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
This event is a part of BHA's Public Land Pack Out, an annual event where members maintain the places they love by picking up and taking out thousands of bags of garbage left in the places everyone can call their own. Last year, during one of the most difficult times we can remember, BHA members broke a record and hefted 4,175 bags of garbage out from our public lands. And with your help in 2021, we hope to crush our 10,000 bag goal.
