The Pennsylvania Chapter of BHA is excited to offer two introductory sessions for navigating the outdoors using the onX Hunt app. The first 40 folks to sign up at Muster in the Mountains for one of the 30-minute sessions will receive a free 1-year Premium app subscription courtesy of onXmaps!
To participate, you must already have onX on your phone or will need to download the onX Hunt app and set up a free trial for Pennsylvania: onX Hunt 7-Day Free Trial. Be sure to activate trial within the 7-day window to ensure that the app is available the day of the event.
In order to actively participate in the workshop, it is recommended that users Save New Map of the Kacin Farm (814 Potato Patch Lane Morris, PA 16938) to their Off-Grid maps within the app. Please contact Noah Hetrick ([email protected]) for technical assistance. This will allow offline use of the app in the field to minimize device battery and data usage. Participants should come prepared to hike, with appropriate footwear and water. See you there!
