Our public lands just got a little bigger! In December 2022, the ink dried on the 829 acres Willow Creek Acquisition to Mt. Haggin WMA near Anaconda. Now it's time to roll up our sleeves and get to to work making it ready for hunters, hikers, and, most importantly, our wildlife! Join Montana BHA as we partner with Montana FWP in a work day at Mt. Haggin.
Volunteers are needed to complete a variety of tasks that might include removing fencing along the old boundaries, improving the parking area, moving and placing signage, and so much more! Join us at 2pm on Friday, May 12 to help with this exciting new project. FWP will provide all the major tools and supplies, however volunteers should bring their own work gloves, sturdy clothing and footwear, and fencing pliers if they have them. FWP will provide burgers and dogs and liquid refreshments for after the work is completed.
RSVPS are needed ASAP to confirm this work day will be possible. Please do not commit if you are not confident in your availability.
