Mountain Home AFI is partnering with the BLM for a fence inventory!
Why You Should Want to Attend:
Mountain Home AFI in a collaboration with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) invites all AFI members to join us in inventorying fencing in the recently burnt Valley Fire.
What is it:
Join AFI and the BLM for an important piece of stewardship work in the Boise area. We will be inventorying a section of BLM fencing that was recently burnt in the Valley Fire to determine what level of work is needed to have this piece of public land working again. We don’t anticipate it to be a short day, however there is a high likelihood that we’ll see plenty of wildlife (that we’ll try to avoid disturbing).
Mountain Home AFI will provide a wild game lunch!
What to bring:
-Your phone with mapping app and offline map loaded for the area
-water
-snacks
-boots
-clothes suitable for the forecasted weather
-a chair/stool
When is it:
March 29th from 8:30AM-5PM

Who can attend:
- This event is open to all members of the military community
(Active duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans, and Gold Star families)
- You do not need to be a BHA member to attend
(but we sure would appreciate it if you were)
