Come join BHA at Mountain Archery Festival at Purgatory Mountain Resort July 12th-13th. This event will be great for the whole family with lots of hunting and conservation minded groups gathered together to hone hunting skills, knowledge, and fitness. We will be taking this opportunity to share our core values, and recruit new members.
In addition BHA will be holding a fundraising skills competition designed to test participants ability to field judge animals. For an entry fee of $10 each or 5 entries for $40, participants will field judge mounts and a simulated field scenario. All measurements will be established by Pope and Yong criteria and judges. The participant who comes closes to the aggregate score of all mounts will be awarded a Vortex Viper HD 20-60 x 80 Spotting Scope at the Pope and Young Pint night event. Participants will have from 9 am-4 pm on Friday and Saturday to submit their scores.
