Montana Chapter Stewardship Leader
Responsible for helping Regional Board Members organize stewardship events (at least one (1) per Regional Board Member, per year); typically, these projects will happen in tandem with land management agencies (BLM, USFS, DNC) or Montana FWP.
Tasked with overseeing the identification of service projects, handling liability issues (using BHA’s liability waiver), creating effective promotional materials, creating digital assets, sending emails, creating event listings, and securing any needed tools/materials (all done remotely).
Responsible for one (1) quality piece of social media content/blog per stewardship event as a post-event writeup, outlining the who/what/where/when/why/how of the project.
Send a resume and a letter of interest outlining your conservation involvement, skillset and familiarity with Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and the work we do in Montana. Though not a requirement, strong preference will be given for active members with a track record of engagement with the Montana Chapter of BHA. Please include any relevant experiences - either paid or volunteer - as well.
