Just in time for the fall hunting season, Neil Anderson, FWP's Wildlife Program Manager for Region 1, will present on chronic wasting disease. Be informed and be prepared before you head out for your first hunt of the season!
We will also chat with FWP staff regarding some huge land conservation proposals in the works right now, including the Montana Great Outdoors Conservation project (130,000 acres of potential Southern Pine Plantation land under conservation easement and open to hunting), Dayton Fishing Access site acquisition, Somers Beach acquisition, Bad Rock Canyon acquisition and more.
Your hard work helping to get the Great American Outdoors Act is already paying off huge for Montana. Our state is in the forefront of putting Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) dollars to work, and thanks to GAOA the fund is now secure with full and dedicated funding.
