We will work from 9:30am - 4pm and have volunteers back to Missoula by 5pm. Lunch will be generously provided by Cambie. This BMA is one of the oldest Block Management Areas in Region 2. It provides excellent elk and whitetail hunting, as well as bear & upland birds, to scores of folks each season. Removing old barbed wire fence thats no longer in use helps open migration corridors and prevent wildlife from becoming entangled as they move across the landscape in search of food and cover.Volunteers will need to come prepared with at least 2 liters of drinking water for the workday, snacks, work gloves, sunglasses or safety glasses, and proper hiking boots. Long pants and long sleeves are recommended since well be working with barbed wire. Weather may be variable, so volunteers should be prepared.Due to the nature of the work, dogs are not allowed.*Please only RSVP if you are serious about attending. RSVP numbers help us prepare appropriate meals, tools, and work and no-shows cost us valuable time and effort. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, so we ask that you update your RSVP accordingly.
