The Armed Forces Initiative is the BHA program focused on creating conservationists within the military community. Our dual-skills camps are designed to teach the military community how to get out and enjoy our public lands and waters through hunting or fishing.
This Dual Skills Camp is a learn-to-hunt event. Michigan AFI is proud to once again be working with Wings Of Freedom Veterans/First Responders Pheasant Hunt and the Haymarsh Hunt Club to bring back the annual pheasant hunt. Please join us for some friendly banter, good upland shooting, and supporting the past and present military members. Coffee and donuts are provided before the hunt, and lunch will be served afterwards…..at no cost (though donations are highly appreciated). As in previous years, bird cleaning is also provided for anyone unfamiliar with cleaning their own birds, but AFI mentors will have a bird cleaning clinic for anyone wanting to learn.
When is it:
Sept 28th 9:00am - 4:00pm
Where is it:
Haymarsh Hunt Club
11959 Jefferson Rd.
Morley, MI 49336
Who can attend:
- This event is open to all members of the military community
(Active duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans, and Gold Star families)
