We're bringing it back! The Michigan BHA Chapter Rendezvous is happening again! We will be at the Tall Oaks Campground August 19 - 21 and we're ready to see you there. This year is going to be exciting with presentations from Jarod Walker from Flint Ridge Rifles speaking about western hunting and backcountry gear and John Borkovich, who is the Author of “Wildlife 911: On Patrol”. We will also host some great roundtable discussions that range from state and national policy items to Michigan BHA future events.
Raffle items will be abundant as we have so much to give away. We have a hand crafted fly rod, and beautiful trad bow from Sauk Trail Archery along with merchandise from some of our national BHA sponsors such as: Yeti, Sport Dog, Fish Pond, First Lite, Skwala Fishing, and a 4 man tipi from Seek Outside. So you will have ample opportunity to win some amazing stuff from our Michigan Chapter Partners and national parnters!
Camping will be available too! There are NOW 12 primitive sites $10/per site (holds two tents each), 17 RV sites ($20/per site) that can hold a camper and a tent or two tents each, and 17 cabins that range from rustic ($30/per cabin) to a little more luxury ($50/per cabin). Camping tickets will be available on the event page with the event tickets and will be limited in number! Please coordinate with friends and the Michigan Board if necessary so that we have all the available spots/beds filled. If you only need one tent on a site and don't have anyone else to share the spot with, please let board know and they can probably find someone to share your site.
NOTICE: Additional primitive sites have now opened up as of 8/10/22
Event tickets are separate and will be per person and children 13 and younger are free!
The event will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Starting off with a film night on Friday followed by great conversations and fireside chats. Saturday will bring some great presentations along with an opportunity to chime in on some great roundtable topics. You will see familiar faces and meet some great new folks all with the similar passion for conservation and public lands. This year will be bring your own food to make planning easier and cheaper on all participants, so bring enough for the entire weekend! Archery targets will also be set up, so don't forget your archery gear (and maybe some friendly competitions).
We are very excited to be providing this event to our BHA membership once again! We can't wait to see you!!
