The Michigan chapter of Backcountry Hunters will be joining the MI DNR and others to help cleanup an illegal dump site in The Pigeon River Country State Forest on September 15th. We will begin cleaning at 10am. Directions From I-75, take exit 310 (Indian River/Rogers City) for M-68 headed east. Onaway is about 19 miles from the interstate, and Milligan Highway is about 5 miles south of Onaway on M-33. The turnout is about 1 mile west of the intersection of Milligan Highway and M-33. Volunteers are encouraged to carpool if possible, as parking will be limited. Please RSVP as soon as possible as Lunch will be provided and a head count will be needed ahead of time.
