Join the Michigan Chapter of BHA and the Michigan DNR in a Public Lands Packout as we head out to clean up the Barry State Game Area. The day will start with a meeting at the Yankee Springs Township Fire Department to cover any safety information, the tasks during the event, and for folks to gather and meet one another. Immediately following, we will head out to the field and begin cleaning up the surrounding public lands! This is a great opportunity to get the whole family involved with a little stewardship and help improve access and safety on a piece of our shared Michigan lands.
Local staff will provide gloves and trash bags. Attendees will use personal vehicles to help cover the area; if you have a truck, please volunteer to haul the loads back to the recommended area. Afterward, pizza will be provided at the Yankee Springs Township Fire Department!
