Grab your leather gloves and help the Washington chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife remove barbed wire fencing on the Methow Wildlife Area near Bear Creek, Winthrop, WA on Saturday, May 6th.
The Methow Valley has the largest migratory mule deer population in the state. Here's your chance to help the local WDFW improve this critical, low-elevation winter range for Methow mule deer.
Afterwards, we'll celebrate our hard work with a BBQ hosted by the WA BHA Chapter and WDFW. Make it a weekend event and join us at a free, group camping spot near the work site and just outside of Winthrop, WA.

· Fence Removal - 12-4pm
· BBQ Cookout - 6pm
Please bring:
· Leather gloves
· Boots
· Work clothes
· Fencing tool and/or small bolt cutters if you have them
