Headline: New Hunters Find Success in Adult Mentored Hunting Program

New and novice hunters were successful in yet another adult mentored hog hunt through Texas BHA’s R3 program, in partnership with Texas Wildlife Association and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The three hunters shot, cleaned, and processed 10 hogs in an educational weekend overseen by several hunting guides who presented gun safety education and a full field-to-table processing experience. Exploring Small Game Hunting on Texas Public Land

A small group of hunters, public land enthusiasts, and BHA members gathered at Granger Lake on Feb. 1, to experience the small-game hunting opportunities offered on public land at the Willis Creek Unit.
