Texas BHA Funds TPWD Scholarship with $8,000 Donation

Texas BHA Member Lands World Record Catfish

Austin-area BHA member Ben Christensen officially had his name put in the record books this month for catching a 31-pound, 8 ounce blue catfish on the Pedernales River last October. Texas wildlife officials launch recovery initiatives for coastal fisheries after major 2021 winter storm

TPWD Seeks Input on Proposed Oyster Closures

At its March 23-24 meeting, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission will consider prohibiting the harvest of oysters in Carlos Bay, Mesquite Bay, and Ayres Bay. Temporary Spotted Seatrout Regulations Approved
