Hunters and anglers are concerned that should this become law, these properties will be diverted to other uses not compatible with hunting and angling, or will be poorly managed. H.B. 1674 by Rep. Cepicky, and S.B. 1839 by Senator Hensley, if passed, will transfer ownership of the 12,800-acre Yanahli ...

The sale of 6,300 acres of the University of Arkansas Pine Tree Research Station ...

Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management and Recreation Act. Today, the Bureau of Land Management is taking a major step forward in its implementation of the Dingell Act by addressing landlocked public lands across the West. We applaud U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary David Bernhardt for prioritizing this important issue and encouraging ...

The challenges hunters and anglers face here go well beyond the typical challenges faced in other states that hold more public access. Even with all these challenges, there are some clear highlights for sportsmen and women. Oklahoma is one of a few states that are consistently showing strong hunter recruitment numbers. New York BHA speaks up for LWCF

Author: New York BHA
On Sunday, September 30th the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), one of our country’s most successful outdoor conservation tools, is set to expire and BHA needs you to take action to prevent it from happening.  Since its bi-partisan inception in 1964, the LWCF has contributed close to $4 billion for federal, state and local governments to sustain important lands, waters, conserve fish and wildlife habitat, and to enhance public access to those very same lands and waters.  As BHA-NY ...
