Join OHBHA as we float down the Maumee River to enjoy an afternoon of fishing, litter clean up and relaxation. We will meet at Providence Metro Park located at 13827 S River Rd, Grand Rapids, OH 43522 at 1:00PM. Bring your own canoe or kayak or rent one from Maumee Tackle and Fishing Outfitters ($37) and we will float downriver to our campsite at Farnsworth Metro Park located at 8801 S. River Rd., Waterville, OH 43566 where we will have a group campsite available for overnight camping (camping is paid by the chapter).
Once off the river, we will head on over to enjoy a Pint Night at Buffalo Rock Brewing located at 345 Anthony Wayne Trail, Waterville, OH 43566 at 6PM. This fine establishment brews a variety of great beers providing great options after a day on the river. There will be a variety of items to raffle off, so bring your luck and a little cash!
Come out to enjoy an afternoon on the river and leave it a better place! Pack your friends and family (oh and dont' forget the camping gear) and spend the night with a group of fun people! Can't make it that early, that's cool just meet us at the campsite or at Buffalo Rock Brewing and enjoy an evening with some great people talking about our love for the outdoors and conservation!
