Come out to Citrus WMA on Saturday (5/10) to join BHA and The Heart of Florida for a Make a Difference May event!
We’ll be camping the night before on Friday (5/09 click link below to reserve your camping spot) and venture into Citrus WMA at 9 am on 5/10 to pick up trash and help restore the area’s natural beauty. This event is open to the public and supporters of all ages. Please wear appropriate clothing (pants, closed-toe shoes, hats, gloves, sunscreen, etc). It’s recommended to bring water and snacks for the hike.
All participants must RSVP and sign a waiver. Please carpool when possible due to limited parking. A potluck lunch will be available after the cleanup so please bring your favorite foods to share with the other attendees.
May 9th- at 5 camping at Tillis Hill Equestrian Campground Withlacoochee State Forest, FL
May 10th- at 9am clean up
May 11th- Check out at Noon
