On Saturday, September 10 from 8am - 2pm, join Montana BHA, Madison-Gallatin Trout Unlimited and the Madison River Foundation as we help clean up the Madison River. This beloved and well-used river has trash and debris, and can always use some hard work and attention by the public water users, anglers and advocates who love it most. We'll be cleaning two sections of the Madison, the lower river and middle river. Volunteers are needed with boats or on foot, so join us however you can!
For those interested in helping on the middle river:
- Please meet at Lions Club Park at the east end of Ennis MT at 8:00 AM for a brief safety talk, clean up directions, and paperwork. After volunteers are done cleaning up their assigned section, they should return to Lions Club Park for BBQ and fun!
- For this section of river, we need:

- 15-20 on foot volunteers per section
- 3-4 boats per section

For those interested in helping on the lower river:
- Please meet at Warm Springs Access at 8:00 AM for a brief safety talk, clean up directions, paperwork, and raffle tickets. After volunteers are done cleaning up their assigned section, they should swing by Trapper Springs Pavilion where we will have free sack lunches and beverages. Participants can also see if they won a prize with their raffle tickets!
