Join us to team up with Central Arkansas Water to start the first phase of the Lake Winona Pollinator Restoration Project as we collect seeds from native pollinator plants at Lake Maumelle to be planted at Lake Winona.
The area we will be targeting is largely along the highway right of way and powerline where numerous species of blazingstar, asters, sunflowers, rattlesnake master, and many more can be found. Please dress appropriately (long pants, boots, gloves, bug spray, sunscreen) and bring some paper grocery bags and pruning/garden sheers if you got them.
This will be a family friendly event and a great way to give back to the Natural State.
