Kansas BHA has another workday set to help KDWP with construction and placement of fish habitat at Kirwin Reservoir.
KDWP will be bringing in cut cedar tress from a WHIA property nearby. KDWP and BHA will meet at the lake to bundle and then sink the weighted cedar trees at designated fish habitat locations in the reservoir.
We will all meet at 8:30am in the parking lot at the North East corner of the dam, where we will tie weights on the cedar trees, then help load them on boats to be placed. Those attending will need to wear long-sleeve shirts and gloves. We should be done by around 2:30pm.
Attendees are asked to bring their own lunch (BHA will provide water and drinks).
