Join your California Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers on September 28th for a day on the water with the Kern River Conservancy and local outfitters. We’ll be whitewater rafting the lower Kern River, outside of Kernville, with trash bags in hand, as we work to keep our publics lands pristine during Public Lands Month. Local outfitters have donated their guides, rafts and time with all proceeds benefiting the Chapter and KRC.
Space is limited so register early at, Members, non-members and everyone in the family is welcome, but anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For those looking to make a weekend out of it, there’s plenty of camping and lodging options available in and just outside Kernville.
