Join us for a great night of storytelling and fun at the historic Johnson Woolen Mills in Johnson, Vermont. The line-up includes BHA CEO and VT local, Patrick Berry, retired Vermont game warden Eric Nuse, big woods buck tracker Matt Bretton, author Tovar Cerulli, and more! Local craft beer and heavy finger food will be provided.
Nothing defines hunting the big woods like wool pants and coats in the classic buffalo check pattern. Johnson Woolen Mills has been at it in Vermont for nearly two centuries. Under four generations of Vermont ownership and the pride of being hand-crafted in the USA, they are a world-wide source for rugged woolen outer wear and the only big woods option for many deer trackers.
This event will quickly sell out so get your tickets early! We will have some great items up for raffle and door prizes. The top prizes will be a complete hunting outerwear combo valued at over $700 and an after the hunt package at over $400! Have a great story of your own? There will be a lightning round of stories for attendees. Do you have some old JWM gear? Bring it with you and show it off in our vintage JWM contest.
