JBLM AFI Archery Range Cleanup
What is it:
The Armed Forces Initiative (AFI) is a Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) program focused on creating conservationists hosted by the military community. JBLM AFI is hosting an archery range clean up at Joint Base Lewis McChord Shotgun Shooting Complex Archery Range. Join us for a day of fun and stewardship!
Why you should want to attend:
This stewardship project aims to restore the integrity of our archery range and promote conservation in the majestic state of WA. Updates and maintenance will be occurring to the range including, trash and old target removal, safety checks, and new target installation. The safety brief will begin promptly at 0930 PST at the range. The day will move on with clean up and maintenance of the range and will wind down at approximately 1400 PST. Beverages and snacks will be provided by the Armed Forces Initiative.

Who can attend:
- This event is open to all members of the military community
(Active duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans, and Gold Star families)
- and anyone looking to support the military community and conservation!
- You do not need to be a BHA member to attend
(but we sure would appreciate it if you were)
***Attendees should dress appropriately, including work gloves***
(Trash bags and tools will be provided by JBLM AFI)
