Are you ready for one of those moments when you taste a prepared dish and the euphoric sensation that you feel is hard to put into words! Well, here is an opportunity to experience that sensation as the Indiana BHA Chapter has a wonderful evening planned that you don't want to miss! We are providing a limited 54 seats at the Fishers Test Kitchen for an evening of wild game dishes, wonderful presentations, amazing raffle items, silent auction, and an opportunity to meet like-minded conservationists that cherish our outdoors. Two amazing chefs will transform the donated Indiana wild game into a variety of mouth-watering dishes that will not only leave you satisfied but also requesting the recipes! Enjoy this dinner while learning how conservation has impacted the lives of so many, how we can continue working together to improve the Hoosier outdoor experience, and how Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is a key player in that role!
What excitement can you expect??
Oh, where to start! First off, Attendees at this grand occasion will have an opportunity to hear two wonderful presentations. The first from Mr. Jeff Manes, author of “Everglades of the North: The Story of the Grand Kankakee Marsh”, along with the producer and narrator of this amazing film. This film has won numerous film festival awards and showcases the necessity and importance clean water and conservation of our Indiana wild places. All attendees will leave with a copy of this film!
The second presentation will be Mr. Amos Rodriguez, a survival expert who has appeared on the show “Alone” season 7 and teaches numerous survival skill classes. Amos hosts a popular Youtube channel and instructs survival classes worldwide. Learn about Amos as he shares his stories, passions, and what conservation means to him!
For the main event; during the evening, participants will be served a variety of locally sourced wild game dishes prepared by Indianapolis chefs Chris Eley, owner/operator along with his wife of Smoking Goose and Neal Brown, partner along with Greg Howe in the Fishers Test Kitchen. A wonderful variety of wild game from venison, ducks, pheasants, fish, and other small game has been donated by several of our Indiana BHA volunteers to provide the attendees with a unique experience of tasting astounding recipes that utilize these local wild harvests. Tables will be served with family style portions of each prepared item allowing folks the chance to create their own level of experience (be sure to share). We assure, these two chefs will create some exquisite dishes that will take participants on satisfying journey of the wild game experience!
