Rockville Lake Park is a county operated facility that offers a full-service campground with two shower houses, diverse camping options, and a variety of recreational opportunities on the 400 acre property. The 102 acre Rockville Lake is known for excellent fishing especially for panfish, bass, and catfish. Being electric motors only, it's an excellent lake for kayaks, canoes, and small jon boats although any boat is allowed but must adhere to electric trolling motor only.
The facility is located in the midst of Parke County, Indiana, which is the covered bridge capital of the world with 31 covered bridges. There are several driving self-tour routes to see these iconic features. Parke County also provides numerous sights and destinations including three state recreation facilities, miles of Sugar Creek, Wabash River, small town charm, and the famous Thirty-Six Saloon.
